L.A. Camp Fair 2018 Update

Many people have inquired lately about the 2018 L.A. Camp Fair.  Although specific dates and locations for the 2018 event(s) have not been finalized, we are creating this blog post to provide you with the latest information.  And additional details become available we will always include them here.

UPDATE: The dates and locations for L.A. Camp Fair 2018 have been finalized as follows:

• Sunday, March 11 at UCLA
• Saturday, April 14 in Thousand Oaks
• Sunday, April 22 in Calabasas

What's a Camp Fair?

A Camp Fair is a live event where prospective campers and their parents can learn about many different summer camp opportunities and meet and speak with representatives from participating camps and programs all in one place. 

Think of it like an expo for summer camps and you're on the right track. Rather than spending time contacting camps that interest you one-by-one, instead you can go booth-to-booth meeting all the camps and seeing what they have offer in person.  L.A. Camp Fair 2018 is a one-stop-shop for finding the best Los Angeles summer camp for you! ​

What Kinds of Camps Will Be at L.A. Camp Fair 2018?

Whatever your child's interest, you will find an ideal summer camp, school or program just for them at the upcoming L.A. Camp Fair! We're talking day camps, overnight camps, sports camps, specialty camps and many more.

No official invitations for camps to sign up for the 2018 L.A. Camp Fair yet have been extended yet; the folks organizing the camp fair intend to do that in a few weeks.

How Many Camps will be at the Camp Fair?

You can expect to see at least 50 summer camps and programs (probably even more) at L.A. Camp Fair 2018. There will be programs to suit every child's interest.  Even if you've attend other camp fairs, or plan to attend some soon, we guarantee you'll find a wide array of new and exciting programs at the L.A. Camp Fair 2018 you have not seen before. Attending this event is your best opportunity to find a great camp for your child!

What Can We Do at the Camp Fair?

​L.A. Camp Fair 2018 will be a fun, informative and interactive event for the whole family. Activities are ongoing and admission is FREE, so you can drop by for just a little while or stay the whole time!

• Meet and speak with camp counselors, directors, and representatives from over 50 summer camps including day camps, overnight camps, specialty camps, sports camps, beach camps, academic camps and so many more
• Get free brochures and promotional items from all the camps
• Enjoy a chance to win FREE camp sessions and other items through exciting drawings and raffles
• Enjoy a great family lunch with a delicious meal from one of our on-site food trucks
• Participate in exciting games, activities, and arts & craft projects for the kids

When and Where Does the Camp Fair Take Place?

Specific details including dates, times, and locations for L.A. Camp Fair 2018 are in the final planning stages and will be posted next week.

Just for reference, last year's 2017 L.A. Camp Fair took place Sunday, April 23 at AC Stelle Middle School in Calabasas.  For 2018, there will definitely be another April Camp Fair event like last year.  But there may be additional events and locations added as well! We will definitely update this blog post with specific details as soon as we get them so you can mark your calendar to attend L.A. Camp Fair 2018. 

How Much Does it Cost to Attend the Camp Fair?

Admission is absolutely FREE! However, due to expected high demand, you will need a ticket to get in. We will post the link to get your free tickets in this space next week.

How Do Camps Sign Up to Attend and Display as Vendors?

If you run a summer camp, school or program and would like to sign up for an exhibitor booth at the Camp Fair, we will post a registration form here for you shortly.
