All About L.A. Day Camps
Day camps typically serve school-age kids who live in close proximity to the camp. Day camps usually take place at schools, parks, beaches, lakes, or other recreational facilities that have enough space for the camp to run its program. One of the defining traits of a day camp is that kids attend the program during the daytime only while spending their nights and weekends at home.

Some day camps offer activity programs consisting of "traditional" camp activities like sports and games, horseback riding, arts and crafts, and so on, while other day camps may offer more specific theme-based programs like music day camps, computer day camps, beach-focused day camps, or any other kind you can think of.
In most cases, day camp activities are supervised and facilitated by college-age camp counselors. Many day camps also provide transportation for campers -- a nice benefit for families especially among those where both parents work. Some day camps require you to adhere to their preset enrollment session dates upon registration, while others give you the flexibility to create your child's own camp schedule instead.

Fitness by the Sea Beach Camp
Fitness by the Sea Beach Camp (FBS) is Los Angeles’ premiere beach camp (celebrating our 24th year) for children ages 4-14. With beachside locations in Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades, FBS provides a 100% safety record, an experienced and mature staff (average age 26), and dynamic and creative activities (surfing, soccer, gymnastics, martial arts, arts and crafts, swimming, baseball, dance… over 200 activities) in an encouraging and nurturing environment.

Aqua Surf Camp
Fun, safe, and educational surfing programs for children and teens (ages 5-17). Our camps run all summer long (Monday – Friday). We have by-the-day or by-the-week options. Aqua Surf diligently hires and trains positive role models for our camp team. This helps us empower campers to gain greater confidence, build lifelong skills, and create treasured memories.

Santa Monica Baseball Academy

Get better, stronger and faster for ALL LEVELS of baseball with Santa Monica Baseball Academy. Instructions will be given by baseball coaches who have recently played professionally, retired from the MLB, as well as college and varsity baseball coaches and certified trainers. Players will practice pitching, catching, hitting, fielding and base running. This developmental program is designed with a direct emphasis on learning the primary fundamentals that lay down the foundation for elite play in baseball. If your child is playing in a youth league, club or travel program you have come to the right place! Our coaches work with beginners to advance baseball players looking to improve their baseball skills for elite level of play. Players will be grouped by age and ability at our camps and clinics. We hold camps and clinics on school holidays, Winter, Spring and Summer breaks! In addition SMBA offers Spring Training beginning on January 5, 2019 for the upcoming baseball season! SMBA also offers private instruction for each aspect of baseball with affordable, professional coaches. Work hard, have fun and get better doing it! Players should wear baseball attire daily, including hats and cleats, sunscreen and water for hydration!

TGA programs create an environment which is fun and safe and focuses on the player. Our rule modifications increase enjoyment and participation. Every class/camp focuses on skill development, game play and fun! Players progress through station activities designed to improve skill and technique. Game play and free play allows players to demonstrate skills. Discovery and play teaches life lessons of Sportsmanship, Perseverance and Leadership through the challenges found in sport. All classes / camps incorporate academic content and help students explore and ask questions, applying knowledge to find new ways to do things, be creative and find solutions to problems. Drone Programming, Build your own drone controller, write code to program and fly your drone, and compete in autonomous challenges in this exciting one week camp.
