Many of the top summer camps in Los Angeles -- and other phenomenal programs from throughout the state, other states, and even from other and countries -- will come together to exhibit their programs for L.A. area families at three summer Camp Fair expo events on Saturday, March 9 at UCLA, Sunday, March 10 in Los Feliz, and Sunday, April 7 in Calabasas, respectively. These three events -- collectively known as "L.A. Camp Fair 2019"-- is organized by Eric Naftulin and Megan Cassidy, two Los Angeles residents with years of background experience in the summer camp field. Los Angeles families, parents, children, and grandparents are invited to attend one, two, or all three Camp Fairs to meet representatives from the participating programs and learn about their camps. "Attending the L.A. Camp Fair is like finding a "one-stop shop" to learn about all the best summer camp opportunities in L.A. this summer," Cassidy said. "Over 120 camps are exhibiting at the Camp Fairs. There will be some crossover among participating camps, with some of the programs exhibiting at all three of the Camp Fairs, but others might be showcasing their programs at only one or two events. In order to become familiar with all the available summer camp options, we recommended families attend all three Camp Fairs so you don't miss anything." According to Cassidy, the Camp Fairs are free, but you'll need tickets to get in because the Camp Fairs typically draw large crowds. Families Can Learn About Many Different Kinds of Camps at the L.A. Camp FairL.A. Camp Fair 2019 features an impressive lineup of many different kinds of summer programs from all over Los Angeles and elsewhere. "Families are guaranteed to find the perfect camp for their child at the Camp Fair, no matter what kind of camp they might be looking for," Naftulin said. "There will be programs exhibiting at the L.A. Camp Fair to match every child's interests. You'll find day camps to sleepaway camps and beach camps to dance camps and every kind of camp in between." According to Naftulin, families won't only be impressed with the various kinds of camps at L.A. Camp Fair, but also where the various programs are based. "Local families will discover dozens of summer camps in L.A. that interest them," Naftulin said. "But there will also be many summer camp exhibitors from San Diego, northern California, Maine, New Hampshire, and even Canada. So if you're thinking of sending your child to a sleepaway camp a little further away, attending the Camp Fair will be extremely worthwhile for you," Naftulin said. L.A. Camp Fair Provides Unique Opportunity to Meet Camp Representatives Face-to-FaceIf you're really looking for the number one reason to attend the L.A. Camp Fair, Megan Cassidy says it's the benefit of meeting the people who will be caring for your kids this summer face-to-face. "Dozens of camps will be represented at the Camp Fair," Cassidy said, "So you'll be able to learn about all these spectacular summer programs for your kids. You can pick up free brochures and your kids can do sample activities at all the Camp Fair booths and all that. But let's face it, nothing beats the opportunity to have a real, face-to-face comprehensive conversation with all the prospective Camp Directors who could very well be supervising your kids this summer. That's the primary purpose of the L.A. Camp Fair -- to give you an opportunity to spend as much time as you need with all the various camp representatives and get all your questions answered so you can make an informed decision about where to send your kids to camp." Over 1,000 Families Expected to Attend L.A. Camp Fair
