Unfortunately we've had to cancel the LA Camp Fair at Dodger Stadium which was set to take place March 6.

This was not an easy decision to make. In the end, we determined there were too many variables in play that could make the quality of this event less than ideal.

Our goal is to provide an authentic and genuine camp fair experience for every event. We will never host an event we don't feel like would meet our standards and be successful for you, so we've decided not to hold the camp fair event at Dodger Stadium this year.

The good news is, the UCLA, Calabasas and San Diego events are going to be lively and wonderful with lots of camps for your to meet. Please get your tickets to those events with the links below so we can make sure we have room for you because we are expecting huge crowds.

Most of the time we focus on summer camp opportunities for kids and teens in Los Angeles. But we are also involved with helping San Diego families find fantastic day and overnight camp experiences for their kids, too.

To that end, this coming March we're sponsoring the second annual San Diego Summer Camp Fair at the Casa del Prado in Balboa Park where over 50 summer camps will be showcasing their programs for the summer 2020 camp season.

Attending this free event with your kids is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn about all the local (and even some from out of state) camps your child can enjoy during the summer.

The San Diego Camp Fair -- a virtual "one stop shop" for finding a great program for your kids this summer -- takes place Saturday, February 23 at the Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park.

One of the most attractive features of attending the Camp Fair is that you will be able to meet, in person, camp directors and representatives from over 50 different local programs (and others from out of state) to learn about their programs. (It's kind of like the standard wedding or bridal show concept you're familiar with, where you go booth-to-booth meeting to the various wedding vendors. Except here we're about a for summer camp show/expo, not weddings!)

So if you are looking for an amazing summer camp or program opportunity for your child in 2019, don't miss the San Diego Camp Fair. It's a free event (although free tickets are required due to a large expected turnout) and, if you're like us, what you see on the internet doesn't always turn out to be the same type of product or service you signed up for when you eventually experience or see it in person. That's another reason why getting to know so many camp representatives in person -- all in one place -- is so beneficial before you sign up for any programs. Nothing beats a face-to-face interaction so you can really get a good feel for the people running the camps ahead of time.
