As of April 2021, we have not received government clearance to host at to host in-person gatherings or live events due to the pandemic, including having an in-person camp fair in Santa Barbara. If and when we receive notification live events can resume, we will organize the Santa Barbara Camp Fair quickly and provide you with relevant details immediately. Protecting your health and safety is the #1 priority, so given the state of affairs with the coronavirus, the event has been cancelled this year. What is the Santa Barbara Summer Camp Fair?

The Santa Barbara Camp Fair is a free event at Santa Barbara City College for you and your family to meet camp counselors, directors and staff from dozens of different local (and even some out-of-state) summer camps and learn about their programs.  Hundreds of greater Santa Barbara area families are attending this event, and we hope you will, too!

If you are considering sending your child to camp this summer,  attending the Camp Fair is a perfect opportunity to get a first-hand impression of the camp opportunities available for your kids. You can meet camp directors face-to-face, ask questions, participate in sample camp activities and demonstrations (so your kids can get a feel in advance of what they will actually be doing at summer camp), and even win free camp!

What is the Date of the Santa Barbara Camp Fair?

The Camp Fair takes place Saturday, April 18, 2020, from 12:00pm to 3:00 pm. Feel free to stay just a little while or make a day of it and stay the whole time!

How Many Camps are Participating at the Camp Fair?

When you arrive at the Camp Fair, we will give you a printed directory of all the exhibiting camps so you can visit the various camp booths that interest you. You can expect to see at least 40 (and probably more!) summer camps showcasing their programs.

How Much Does the Camp Fair Cost?

The Santa Barbara Camp Fair is totally free! But you'll need advance tickets to get in because we're expecting a big crowd. Get your free tickets today!

Where Does the Camp Fair Take Place?

The Camp Fair takes place on the Great Meadow at Santa Barbara City College.  We've included a map below. Signs will be posted around campus showing you where to go. Our friendly Santa Barbra Camp Fair concierges will be on site to greet you when you arrive. Ample free parking is available right next to the Camp Fair site.
