You Can't Go Wrong Picking Any of the Eight Great Agoura Hills Day Camps for Summer 2024.

If you live in Agoura Hills, California or one of its neighboring communities, you have LOTS of summer camp options available to you. ​

To help narrow down your selection, we’ve compiled a list of camps either located in or near Agoura or that provide transportation to and from the Agoura area (so your child can still attend an Agoura Hills-based program even if you don't live in Agoura itself). 

Camps are listed alphabetically below. Choose any camp on the list for a great summer experience!

Aloha Beach Camp

Aloha Beach Camp’s aquatic-based summer day camp, serving campers ages 4-15, focuses on safe and fun water sports like swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, jet skiing and boating activities and takes place predominately at Zuma Beach and Castaic Lake.  Free transportation, with a convenient pick-up and drop-off point at the Islands Restaurant at Kanan Road, is provided for Agoura kids.  Exciting field trips to water parks and other local beaches and lakes for paddle boarding and kayaking are also offered. A low camper-to-counselor ration and highly trained lifeguard-certified staff makes Aloha a perfect choice for a fun AND safe summer!   Another bonus?  Their flexible day by day, no-sessions-required enrollment feature where you can pick and choose your own days of camp instead of signing up according to a rigid pre-planned session schedule!

Camp Keystone

A long time favorite among Agoura Hills kids, Camp Keystone operates on a beautiful-park like site covering 30 beautiful areas of land in the Santa Monica Mountains.  They offer over 30 traditional camp activities including archery, arts and crafts, boating, go-carting and horseback riding.  They also offer a “choose-your-own-adventure program” for campers in grades 2 – 7 that lets campers design their own camp schedule each day!  In addition, Camp Keystone campers enjoy swimming and inflatables (like moon bounces) not to mention a 274’ water slide that winds down their camp mountain.  (They are definitely famous for their water slide!) Campers are divided up into age appropriate programs and a C.I.L.T. program (Campers-in-Leadership-Training) is also available for older campers interested in training to become a camp counselor down the line.

Camp Kinneret

Camp Kinneret, an Agoura summer camp stable for decades, has been in operation since 1954!  They have a strong camp philosophy that has four main tenets: 1) camp will encourage creativity and expression; 2) the basis of camp is teamwork and social interaction, 3) camp is a community where courage is celebrated, and 4) all campers can succeed and camp will give campers the opportunity to grow through accomplishment.  Each day at camp is broken down into six periods that focus on one of the following: swimming, active play, creative play, adventure, special events and arts and nature.   All activities are progressive and all campers are grouped by age.  Their caring and well trained staff help campers thrive in a positive environment.  Camp Kinneret offers transportation, so even if you don't like in Agoura itself, your child can still enjoy the camp experience because the camp offers pick-up up and drop-off service for campers who leave nearby. They also have a payment plan option should families require a little extra assistance paying for camp.

Camp Summertime

Campers attending Camp Summertime spend their summer on site at beautiful Calimigos Ranch (approximately halfway between Agoura and Malibu).  The camp is held on over 120 private acres at the ranch where campers ages 4 – 14 enjoy a natural space that includes ponds and swimming pools!  Their main goal is to provide campers with a summer experience that’s both safe and enriching.  Camp Summertime supports all forms of development – social, creative, physical and emotional –through their wide variety of team and individual activities. Expect your camper to build both self-confidence and self-esteem this summer!  Camp Summertime has a ton of activities from sports to arts and crafts to swimming and they even have occasional overnights during the summer! Sounds fun!

Monarchs Gymnastics

Want an alternative to outside recreation?  Try the summer camp program at Monarchs Gymnastics where they promise no bee stings or sunburns!  They offer daily summer camp program for campers ages 4 – 14 in either full or half day options with extended care available.  The program is designed to maximize each day’s activity time.  Activities are set up with circuits that work on progression of certain gymnastic skills.  Campers are trained by certified instructors who combine lessons with fun games.  No prior gymnastic experience is required, making this a perfect gymnastics summer camp program for all Agoura kids!

Oak Park Agoura Sports Fitness Camp

This sports fitness camp is held at Medea Creek middle school.  It focuses on keeping kids active through traditional sports like football, soccer and baseball and has fun games and activities like capture the flag, relays, tag, gaga, and many more to help keep every day exciting!  Oak Park Agoura Sports Fitness Camp also features fun weekly events and is led by sports professionals who are teachers, trainers and athletes. Half-day and full-day programs are available and campers will come home happy and tired with a big smile on their face...and isn't that what you want from a summer camp?! Yes!

Summer Art Academy

Summer Art Academy's motto is “Anything Can Happen If You Let It"! They offer an engaging program focused on developing creativity in campers ages 5-15.  They offer workshops in all areas of the arts from dance to cooking to technology to arts and crafts.   Their focus is on individuality and fostering creativity.  They offer custom programming led by experienced teachers and art instructors who teach using a variety of techniques with every camper.  Workshops are curated to be age-specific, and there’s even a teen camp for older campers who need a more a more advanced level of instruction. If we were looking for an Agoura Hills art camp, Summer Art Academy would be our first choice.
