January 18 Summer Camp Open House?

We just read a story on the internet saying the YMCA in New Jersey was having a summer camp open house on January 18. Really? If any summer camps here in L.A. having an open house in January, nobody would come! That's way too early. Most Los Angeles summer camps have open houses starting in March. That's probably when most people (L.A. families anyway) start thinking about camp! :)
